24-7Israel is an impartial online publication with no specific political affiliation. It was set up in 2012 by an Israeli journalist Yoav Marcus born in the UK and his capital partner Mark Friedman from the US to report on developments and events in Israel and from the Jewish world in general. It is based in Jerusalem and aims to report the news in an open and fair manner, offering a varied choice of opinions and analysis. Yoav Marcus is the founding editor and, as such, has full responsibility for the editorial content of the newspaper.
24-7Israel also serves as a focal point for Jewish communities across the world, highlighting developments and events from all Jewish communities through the Diaspora. It aims to keep the Jewish world fully engaged and informed about everything that happens.
The aim is that 24-7Israel acts as a platform to host constructive and informative debates surrounding the challenges that Israel and the Israeli region faces, along with the challenges faced by Jewish people the world over. Anonymous postings are not allowed; readers are requested to respond to news articles using their real names on Facebook.
The main staff and the bulk of the contributors to 24-7Israel include a large number of English-speaking journalists from Israel. We will always consider freelance articles, any video or news content you may have and, where appropriate, we will host your blogs. See our Contact Page for more details on submitting content to us.
